The DNC???

What was gained from the Democratic National Convention? It doesn't appear as if Kerry's standing in the polls has received the boost that the DNC has traditionally given to past presidential candidates. And also, due to the timing of the terror alert released by the White House, many are accusing the Bush administration of manipulating information for political gains. Though these may influence the upcoming election, they pale in comparison to the real issue at hand. That's right folks. On August 14th, there is officially a sales tax holiday in Massachussetts.

I think it's clear what this means. For every dollar and a nickel you would have spent, you get a nickel back! I don't need to tell you this, but the more you spend, the more you save! Remember, 5% off of nothing, is still NOTHING! Meaning you wasted the opportunity to save money. The conclusion: Go spend everything you feasably can in an attempt to save as much as possible. (Note: Logic behind this thinking may be faulty.)

P.S. I have a sneaking suspicion that the reason behind this is to thank the people of MA for tolerating the DNC. (And it was tolerance. The T's were over-crowded and the streets were no longer safe for the radical right winger.)

I think Kerry kind of levelled out with undecideds already... it is going to be a close one.
